Susan is a Nurse Practitioner located in Florida. With 15 years of experience, Susan has worked in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, ICU, Urgent Care, and Family Practice. She has also worked at an FQHC where she served low-income and immigrant populations. She has taught RN courses in critical care at Broward College and worked in the college's simulation lab to aid student practice. Susan enjoys working at Hazel because it gives her the ability to provide children with high-quality care so they can continue their day in the classroom. In her free time, Susan enjoys binging shows and watching movies, and spending time with her family and friends. She loves to travel and experience new places, attend comedy shows, and doodle faces.

Amanda is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner located in California. With over 15 years of experience, Amanda has worked in Primary Care, Endocrinology, Neurosurgery, and Intensive Care. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys photography and doing outdoor activities on the coast or in the mountains with her family (hiking, camping, biking, swimming, and exploring).

Maria is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in the healthcare field for over 16 years, and has experience in pediatric intensive care and acute care walk-in clinics. She enjoys working with children because they are fun, strong, resilient, genuine, honest, and always make her laugh. Maria is an adrenaline junkie - she loves speed, rollercoasters and anything that gets the heart pumping (except skydiving, where she draws the line)!

Dr. Jennifer Nguyen Chew is a Pediatrician located in Texas. After completing her medical training, Dr. Nguyen Chew practiced locally at Parkland in Dallas as an outpatient pediatrician. She later went on to Santa Monica, CA to practice pediatric urgent care, before returning to Texas to practice outpatient pediatrics at Texas Children's. She is also an experienced medical writer, with a passion for making patient educational materials about medical conditions fun and easy to understand. Dr. Nguyen Chew loves the opportunity to treat children while they are in school, so she can see and assess them in the moment of need, and help figure out the best next step. She likes being an extra resource for students and their families. Dr. Nguyen Chew is fluent in Vietnamese and adores cats, dogs, and all things furry.

Gabby is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has been an NP for over 9 years. Prior to becoming an NP, she was a Neonatal ICU nurse for 10 years. Gabby's focus is primary preventive care to prevent illness. She loves working at Hazel because she enjoys teaching families and children how to achieve their best physical, developmental, and mental health. She loves M&Ms, Wanda Vision, and cuddling with her dog, Benji.

Dr. Rina Shah is a Pediatrician located in California. She chose pediatrics because she is constantly inspired by the next generation. As a mother and a doctor, she has learned so much from just listening to children and giving them space for their feelings. Dr. Shah believes that kids deserve to be taught early in life how their bodies work, and how nutrition, exercise, mindful, and a healthy lifestyle can prevent illness and disease. Dr. Shah loves empowering kids to take charge of their own health, and to ask for help when they need it. Outide of work, Dr. Shah enjoys celebrating her Indian culture through food, yoga, and Bollywood dancing.

Lisa is a Physician Associate located in California. With over 20 years of experience, Lisa has worked primarily in outpatient settings in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, and Chronic Pain Management. Working with Hazel to provide children with high-quality health care invigorated Lisa every day. In her free time, she enjoys connecting with children, their families, and the care providers at their school. Lisa enjoys hiking with her dogs and recreating with her children in the mountain community they love to live in.

Karmen is a Physician Associate located in Texas. She has been a PA for 15 years, with previous experience in family medicine and convenient care settings. She is fluent in Croatian and English. Outside of work, she loves baking, crafting, and horseback riding with her husband and four children.

Adriana Vanessa is a Nurse Practitioner located in California. She has previously worked as an NP in Pediatric Primary Care at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and as an RN (Clinical Nurse Manager) at a pediatric FQHC. She enjoys working at Hazel because she gets to bridge gaps in care for students in various communities across the country. In her free time, Adriana Vanessa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, getting outdoors, and trying new foods.

Jessica is a Physician Associate located in Colorado. She has 12 years of experience working in general pediatrics, primarily in general pediatric practices. Jessica strives to create a safe place for kids to open up about any physical or mental health concerns they have and work together to find solutions. She loves working in partnership with schools, and believes that together, we can promote health equity. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys tending a small indoor garden year-round, weaving with her daughter, and traveling to new places.

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I graduated from Humboldt State University with a Master's in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor's in Psychology. I have experience working with children in the welfare system, transitional age youths and with families that have experienced homelessness. I have a strong desire to support families from all walks of life as they overcome challenges and realize their innermost selves. It is an incredible honor and privilege to be able to walk by someone else's side while they make significant strides toward empowerment and self-compassion.

Ashley is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor located in Washington. She has experience working in school systems, foster care, and community based and clinic based settings. She has a passion for helping kids overcome the traumas life has thrown their way, to find their truth, speak to their story, and to help them to take control of their own lives through art, music, play, and behavioral mental health services. She is an advocate for the LGBT+ community, and enjoys interacting with and counseling those with varied religious, philosophical and existential beliefs. Ashley enjoys camping, adventures with her kids in the community, playing guitar, creating art, trying new foods, baking, and cooking.

Janethia is a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Colorado. She has spent her entire career in the mental health School-Based setting and is passionate about helping children and youth work through adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma. She enjoys attending Church, spending quality time with her family and friends, and cooking different recipes.

Briana is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist located in Nevada. She is currently working towards her PsYD with an emphasis on Couples and Families. Briana has experience working with diverse clients in community mental health and private practice. Briana believes that all clients have the innate ability to create the change they wish to see in their lives. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and trying new foods.

Lizbeth is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is fluent in English and Spanish, and has worked in diverse settings including outpatient clinics, psychiatric hospitals, and schools. She has worked with people of all backgrounds and is specialized in working with children and adolescents who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns. Outside of work, Lizbeth enjoys running and traveling.

Mae Ann Santa Ana is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Hawai’i and an approved telehealth provider for the state of Florida. She understands her native language, Ilocano. She received her Bachelor’s of Psychology from University of Hawai’i at Manoa and Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hawai’i Pacific University. She is passionate about working with children of all ages and backgrounds. She fell in love working with the K-12 population from being a Skills Trainer. For the last 6 years, she has primarily worked as a counselor for at-risk youth in both private practice and as a Multi-Systemic Therapist.

Mae loves nature and exploring new places. She enjoys a combination of hiking and photography. More recently you can find her at toddler friendly adventures with her two year old son. If she is not out and about, you can find her doing some sort of DIY project.

Stephanie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor located in Florida. She has worked in the mental health field for the last 12 years in a variety of mental health settings providing services to individuals of all ages and backgrounds including the LGBTQ+ community. She has experience working with individuals with a variety of mental health concerns and has completed specific training in trauma and play therapy techniques. She enjoys going to the gym, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Traci is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist located in Hawaii. She has worked in the clinical field for over 20 years and was trained and certified in the ABC Program (Attachment Biobehavioral Catch-up). She has specialized in the 0-3 population and has had the opportunity to work with diverse populations from various cultural backgrounds in the State of Hawaii. She has also been trained and implemented evidence-based models, such as Functional Family Therapy and Multisytemic Therapy. Traci enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling. and enjoying the outdoors with loved ones.

Olivia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in Nevada. She has worked in the mental health field for over 13 years in many settings including schools, outpatient, residential, primary care and private practice. She is passionate about providing care to vulnerable populations, including working with BIPOC, LGBTQ+ community, immigrants and native Spanish speakers. Her areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, self-esteem, bullying and peer relationship concerns. She works with individuals of all ages and backgrounds and believes that every individual is deserving of a safe space to be heard, heal and overcome life’s challenges. Olivia enjoys traveling, shopping, reading, and spending time with her husband and children.

Ashley Navarre is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Tarleton State University and Masters degree from the University of North Texas. She is passionate about providing care to vulnerable populations that typically don't have access to high quality mental health care. She works with people of many backgrounds, and has experience with foster youth, behavior concerns and school based services. She has worked in schools, hospital settings and emergency shelters. She enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with her children.

Dr. Karen Griner (PhD, Counseling) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor located in Florida. She works primarily with children, adolescents, and their families. Dr. Griner believes there is always room for hope and optimism, and that compassion, empathy, and understanding bring us greater fulfillment in our lives. Her passion for travel and photography have taught her how a change of perspective can fundamentally change the way the world looks.
